Chapter 10 | Money Minded

In the 1960s or 1970s, a woman was lying on the floor, a white face coming out of her mouth. She was dying, dying because of the poison she consumed with a rush of emotions. That brother of her husband, her brother-in-law slapped her; the reason is unknown to me. But that was not it, that lady's husband did nothing even when he slapped her.

He was her husband, wasn't he supposed to protect her or hurt the person who dared to hurt his wife? But he did nothing. That hurt her emotions and her self-respect.
